The U.S. Navy has concluded an extensive search for a sailor who remains missing after an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter made an emergency landing in the Arabian Sea, bringing a more than four-day rescue operation to an unsuccessful end. According to the Navy, search crews spent more than 102 hours covering approximately 14,000 square miles of open water while attempting to locate the missing service member.
